Our Traditional Family Butchers Shop

We are a traditional family butchers based in the small village of Sixpenny Handley on the beautiful Cranborne Chase in East Dorset. We sell local lamb, beef, poultry and game which is all sourced from farms around Dorset, Wiltshire and Hampshire. We can cut all the meat to your specific requirements, please just ask.

Deli with cheese, cooked meats and more

As well as the meat we have a wide selection of cheeses, both local and continental. There is generally a choice of 40 to 50 cheeses - perfect for that after dinner cheese board or a top quality picnic lunch.

The deli counter also includes Langdale Farm creams and yoghurts, butters, cooked meats, salami, pates and smoked fish.

Wines, Beers and Spirits

Our shop is licenced to sell wines, beers and spirits so you can pick up the perfect bottle to go with your dinner. If you are planning a party or function we can supply wine on a sale and return basis and include free glass hire.

Butcher’s Meat for the Freezer

We sell meat for the freezer too. Whole and half carcases and freezer packs can be produced to your specification. Please contact us if you have any questions or would like to order.
